Ron Paul and his fellow international finance conspiracy theorists hate the Rothchilds, but I think they’re the best example of an capitalist success story.  Need money to defeat Napoleon?  Go to the Rotchschilds.  Need someone to hide your ancien régime money from rampaging revolutionaries?  The Rothschilds will do it (and make you money in the process!)  Lacking funds to build an empire or start a diamond cartel?  The Rotchschilds will help…for a fee, of course.
The founder of the family, Mayer Amschel, was born in a Judengasse (or Jew-Alley) in Frankfort.  Rising out of the ghetto, Izaak established a international finance empire.  However, he was Jewish and his family’s influence of global events was so great that it’s hard to measure even in retrospect.  Powerful, rich, and secretive Jews…is it any wonder John Birchers and Paul hate them?  If you don’t believe me, just read or watch anything Paul put out before he was continuously running for president.
